History of Ambulance 796
In 1998, Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad added a fourth Ambulance to it's fleet. A 1998 Ford E-350/Horton was ordered and placed in service as Ambulance 796. This was also the first piece of apparatus for Hollywood that was painted in our current white/green/gold markings. This unit served from 1998 until 2013 when it was replaced with a 2014 Freightliner/Wheeled Coach ambulance.
