On February 14, 2025 Jay Flynn from Homes for Heroes Foundation presented a check to the Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad. The check represents a grant that is to be used towards the renovation and new addition of the squad’s building. The renovation and new addition will enable the Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad to continue providing emergency medical services to St. Mary’s County. The squad is continuing to raise money towards our goal of providing a safe, modern facility for our members. We have several fundraising events in the near future including a Kentucky Derby Watch Party, $10,000 Raffle and a Bluegrass Festival.
